Day 01: IQUITOS/HELICONIA LODGE/FISHING TOURS
Reception at Francisco Secada Vigneta Airport in Iquitos and transfer to Bellavista Nanay, on the shores of the Nanay River where we will take the boat to start our trip down the majestic Amazon River . Arrival at the Heliconia Lodge and accommodations. After lunch, there will be a fishing trip for piranhas and other fishes. Along the journey back to the lodge, you will have the opportunity to observe the sunset and the pink and gray dolphins.Afterwards, we will have a delicious dinner and a brief explanation on the best ways to fish for Tucunare - Peacock Bass (Cichla o Cellaris), Arawana and other varieties.
Day 02: HELICONIA LODGE/MANITI RIVER/ PAPARO LAKE
We will have breakfast very early in the morning. Then, we will start our trip on speedboat to one of the Amazon River streams called the Maniti River towards Paparo Lake to start the sport fishing of Tucunare (Peacock Bass) with an average weight of 4 to 8 lbs. Arawana, etc. After having a box lunch we will continue our exciting fishing excursion.Return to the lodge after observing the beautiful landscape, the twilight, etc. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: HELICONIA LODGE/ MAZAN TOWN
Breakfast. Trip to the town of MAZAN on the Napo River . After crossing the Mazan dock, we will take a small boat to start the trip along the Mazan River . Arrival to Yuto stream to fish for Tucunares and other species. After having a box lunch we will continue our excursion. Return to the lodge early. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04: IQUITOS/LIMA
Breakfast. Enjoy the tour for fishing Catfish and Piranhas or just relax in our hammock room. Lunch. Return to Iquitos . Transfer to the airport.
